Turn the clock back to 2009. Christoph Perger creates the Geo-Wiki tool in collaboration with the International Institute for Applied Systems Analysis (IIASA) and then embarks on a career applying his unique combination of geospatial and IT expertise to teaching masters students at the University of Applied Sciences in Wiener Neustadt. At the same time he begins work with the university's spinoff company, Fotec, developing web-based solutions for different customers and gaining consulting experience. Two years later, Christopher Dresel arrives on the scene, bringing along years of experience as a freelancer and joining Christoph in teaching and working for Fotec projects.
By 2015, with 10,000s of hours of programming and consulting under their belts, they decided it was time to set out and create their own brand, starting the company Spatial Focus. The strong links forged with the University of Applied Sciences and IIASA continue to this day.
We see Spatial Focus as the vehicle for integrating the complementary geospatial and IT skills of a dedicated team of professionals to provide innovative geospatial solutions. We aim to meet the needs of a diverse customer base in the public and private sector. We look forward to working with you.
